In the past, exam-oriented ecation forced us to listen to our teachers while taking notes in class. We did all kinds of exercises without end, though it was 5 o'clock in the afternoon. After supper, we had to continue our exercises far into the night.
Now, quality-oriented ecation has made our school life colourful. We are active in class. In order to train the ability, we often do research on study(research into study). 像哈佛，耶魯，普林斯頓等現在的世界頂尖大學在建立之初不過也就是幾個普普通通的學院。當時也沒有任何人希望他們能走到現在的這一步。但他們共同的特點就是自主性。大學教授的終身制也是為了保持教授的自主性。這樣他們既不用擔心因為自己的學術觀點被解僱或受到外界其他的影響。而中國大學中有天壤之別，教授們要定期學論文完成指定的業績，還有末位淘汰制。著這樣的環境下誰能有什麼突破性的想法。
其次就是教學內容的設置現在中學的主科有語文，數學，英語，物理，化學等每科的學業都很繁重。人類從遠古時代就有了分工也就是說不是每個人以後的工作中能用到所有的內容，一個作家絕不可能每天要面對一堆一元二次方程。一個科學家也不可能整天跟古詩文打交道。而且每個人擅長的學科也不一樣，有的擅長語文有的擅長理科。而現在的教育體制並不注重培養一個人的長處反而只注重提高一個人的短處，妄圖能把每個人都培養成全才。這種人前無古人後也不會有來者。這樣的結果就是會把每個人變成長處不長短處不短的平庸的人。這種所謂的「全才」必定會在精通某一方面的「專才」面前敗下陣來。
最後就是不注重培養學生的創造力，甚至是故意去抹殺他。老師對學生的的評價只有分數從語文的教學上也能看出來。幾乎所有的題都有一個標準的套路，一旦學生在答題時沒有按照這個規則答結果就是沒分。寫作文的要求也是要達到所謂的「思想健康」否則就是你寫的再好也頂多是一個及格成績。
近期教育體制有了一些改革想什麼高中的學分制啊什麼的。但是學生的狀況幾乎沒有發生任何變化。我認為只要中國的應試教育不改了一切教育上的改革都是空談。
